Kandaro is a trade name of [Legal entity name] B.V.. These terms apply between that company (“Kandaro”, “we”) and the organisation that opens an account (“you”).

The service

Kandaro provides decoy sensors (Kandaro Deception), the Kandaro Console and API for the events they record, AI-generated explanations, and notifications. Products marked “coming soon” are not part of the service until we release them.

Your account

• You are responsible for the people you invite and for what they do in your organisation.
• Every user signs in with multi-factor authentication. Keep credentials and recovery codes private.
• Tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.

Subscriptions and trial

• Plans: per decoy or unlimited decoys, paid monthly or yearly in advance, billed in EUR.
• Paying yearly costs 20% less than twelve monthly payments.
• A 14-day free trial requires a payment card. The subscription starts automatically at the end of the trial unless cancelled before then.
• Prices exclude VAT where it applies. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the billing page in the Console. Your subscription then runs until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.

Acceptable use

• Deploy sensors only on networks you own or are authorised to monitor.
• Do not use the service to attack, probe or harm third parties.
• Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.

Your data

The events your sensors record belong to you. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy and on the security page. You can export your data as JSON at any time, and when you delete your organisation its data is purged within 30 days.

AI explanations

Explanations and recommended actions are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. They support, and do not replace, your own judgement.

What the service is not

A decoy detects activity that touches it. It does not prevent an attack and it does not see activity that never reaches a decoy. Kandaro is one layer of your security, not a replacement for the others.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell account owners by email before the change takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the competent court in the district where [Legal entity name] B.V. has its registered office.
